
The WWF logo is a Giant Panda originated from a panda named Chi Chi that was transferred from the Beijing Zoo to the London Zoo in 1961.
The logo was then designed by Sir Peter Scott and sketched by Scottish naturalist Gerald Watterson.
The WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) is an international non-governmental organization founded on 1961, and is working on issues regarding the conservation, research and restoration of the environment.
